Seahaven FM - Volunteer Staff Required
Seahaven Fm is looking for the following part-time volunteer staff. As all posts are part-time there may be more than one post for any given position. So if you can offer the right skills for a few hours each week this could be the opportunity for you to put something really valuable in to the community and enable you to meet the interesting people of Seaford, Newhaven and Peacehaven.
Additional Presenters & Co-Presenters
In the main to produce and assist in the production of the live broadcasts from our studio in Seaford. This will suit people with imagination and enthusiasm who can do more that just introduce songs, people who know the Seahaven area and
want to take part in helping the community. A clear speaking voice is absolutely essential! Experience may be helpful but there will be plenty of opportunity to learn for those with little or no experience. A demonstration recording of your voice and presentation style is required. We have training programmes in place, please contact us for more details of costs and times.
Producers and Researchers
People with good organisation skills to find interesting local topics
to make our programmes unique and varied. Again imagination and enthusiasm may be more important than experience so if you would like to help make Seahaven FM different and more relevant to the local community this could be for you.
Administrative
A varied post helping with the day-to-day running of the station, answering the telephone helping visitors and the production team with the programmes.
Duty Manager(s)
Required to supervise the broadcasting shift, a willingness to learn and impliment the station's policy from both the listeners and licensing perspective and to keep the station's output on track. A firm but friendly demure is required.
