Farewell Karlissa A&B
The two Jack Up Barges that have become a familiar sight on Newhaven's sandy
beach have finally disappeared to the West. The first barge was towed away
on Monday and the second on Tuesday afternoon. Their immediate
destination is Southampton, until after the weekend when they will go on to
the port of Alexandria in Egypt to commence salvage operations.
