Carole Stead
More than Musicals

Carole Stead Carole Stead
Carole presents the More than Musicals show each Sunday from 2pm till 4pm, which can also be heard again on Tuesday evenings at 11pm to 1am.

On the show you'll hear about productions in the local theatres and some of the music from those and classic favourites from the world of musicals.

Carole is Seahaven FM's musical theatre critic and can be seen at many of the local theatres enjoying the performances on offer.

With an interest in amateur dramatics Carole has directed and choreographed for Seaford Musical Theatre and performed at many of the local theatres in the Seahaven area. Roles to date have included Kate from "Kiss Me Kate", Nancy from "Oliver" and Principal Boy in many pantomimes (Oh yes she has!).

She had no desire to become a radio presenter, but after being asked to record some voice-overs for Seahaven FM she became well and truly hooked and loves every minute!

You can find Carole at events away from the studio with the outside broadcasting team, and her cheeky personality often secures an interview with unsuspecting victims including; Lee Hurst; Tom Lockyer; Craig Chalmers (Joseph); Scott Bruton from X-Factor and Daisy Wood-Davis (see picture) who are currently starring in "Dreamboats and Petticoats"; and ex-Emmerdale actor Matt Healy (see picture). So if you are at an event this year and Carole comes up to talk to you, don't worry - she's very friendly!
