Profile:
Born in Oxford and having grown up in rural Berkshire, Chris moved to the sunshine coast when he was 17 and started his first DJ'ing residency, at a popular bar in sunny Eastbourne when aged just 18. His love of music and performing was such, that he quickly gained other residencies in the major clubs and bars in the town and was playing 6 nights out of 7, throughout his late teens and early twenties.
Chris furthered his career and got into venue and entertainment management alongside his DJ'ing, a venture that would see him work and live in a variety of places across the South, including Southampton, Brighton, Bath, Maidstone and London.
In 2004 Chris returned to Eastbourne and started 'Krispee Promotions Ltd' a company that over 3 years would grow from strength to strength and service the entertainment industry across the South of England and Wales. Seeking a change, 'Krispee Promotions Ltd' was sold in 2007 and Chris (having been self employed his whole life) fancied a dabble in the corporate market. Luckily for him offers came flooding and he soon became a Sales Manager for a large multi-national. After winning Sales awards 2 years in a row, Chris noticed that something was missing and in a dramatic turn of events he left his safe employed life and returned to the decks, setting up Krispee Entertainment.
With a passion to perform, Chris has recently appeared in clubs such as London's Ministry of Sound and Turnmills and is resident in Brighton's Honey Club, often working for super-promoter Smartie Partie. Whilst his mobile work has seen him booked by the corporate and personal elite, often in front of crowds in excess of 1000 people.
Chris joined his local hospital radio team in March 2010 and shortly after also learnt of Seahaven FM. Chris has been in the background of both since, assisting technically, with training and co-presenting shows. Starting his own show in September 2010 was a real excitement for Chris and with 14 years experience in the music industry, now hopes to make a real difference within the Seahaven community.
