The picture on the right is Garry with Dec Clusky of the Bachelors. Dec came in to chat with Garry to talk about the good old days, but also the fact that the Bachelors were back in the charts!
Here's what Garry has to say:
I was born in the Seahaven area and have lived mostly in Newhaven where I still live with my two children. Apart from my love of music I also enjoy swimming, cycling, fishing, football, good food, holidays and TV, but not necessarily in that order. I also played guitar in a local band called Heartbeat for a number of years but now just strum along at home.
A few years ago I got involved in hospital radio after realising I wasn't too old. After brief spells at Haywards Heath and Brighton hospital radio stations I became a regular presenter on Radio DGH in Eastbourne's hospital. When Seahaven FM came along it was a great opportunity for me and luckily I got the Mid-Morning Oldies Show (now called the Classic Chart Show) which is right up my street and have been presenting it from the stations' launch.
