Martha sits in the driving seat of Wednesday's Drive Time show between 5pm and 7pm. She will be keeping you up to date with the local travel situation and entertaining you with her bubbly personality. You can also hear Martha some Saturday evenings at 8pm with Soul Feast.
Growing up, as she did, as the youngest in a family of seven children meant that Martha was introduced to a wide variety of music that her sisters and brothers brought into the house. She developed her own taste which is very broad but says she does prefer Motown to Motorhead.
Martha grew up in Brighton and then enjoyed working and travelling through Europe including five years in Dublin, returning to the UK and finally coming to roost in peaceful Peacehaven.
When not at the studio Martha works as a Team Secretary for the NHS. She lives with her three daughters and two dogs and says that moving to her house there from Brighton eight years ago, gave her 'the best neighbours she has ever known!'
A real love of music also recently inspired her to join the newly launched Community choir in Newhaven and you will sometimes find her joining in when the mic is off in the studio when her favourite songs are playing.
