Nick is one of the founders of Seahaven FM and has had a life long interest in radio, started DJing/presenting in the 1960s and has done a variety of work in discos, clubs, as well as studio production and voice work. Now after a long break he has come back to familiar territory at Seahaven FM - except for the fact that it's all computerised now.
Nick lives in Seaford and loves being near the sea (ha har Jim Lad), loves the views of the area, and being so close to Brighton and Eastbourne is really great. Musically Nick's tastes are quite varied. It all started with pop music in about 1962/3, his first record, was in fact 2 records, 'She Loves You' and 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand' by the Beatles. From there it all went backwards to the 1940s and 50s and has more or less (with a few gaps here and there) until today. He was a full time professional Roller Skating Coach/Trainer for 15 years and was introduced to classical music, also plays guitar a little and enjoys Jazz and Blues music.
If you are into roller skating you may find Nick skating locally giving a helping hand to skaters young and old. The picture on the right is of him acting the goat on skates. At his age he really should know better!
